If
you're planning to say vows this summer, you'll want to be up-to-date on all
the latest wedding trends. A manicure is probably on your to-do list, but do
you have any idea what you want? Never fear brides, we've got you covered.
Check out the three hottest wedding trends for your nails.
French manicure
It's a classic look for a wedding. French manicures remain the
most popular trend for brides. The elegant look includes white tips with a
clear or pink coat of polish at the base. Many brides include gems or
decorations on one nail to complete the look.
Colored tip
If you're looking for something a bit more edgy, get a French
manicure with a colored tip. Rather than going for the traditional white color,
pick a polish that matches your wedding colors. If your bridesmaids are wearing
pink, consider a pink tip to add a dash of color to your look. You could also
select a glittery polish for the tip, like silver or gold.
Classic red
If a French manicure isn't your style, you can always go with
classic red. After having your nails trimmed and filed, select a bold shade of
polish to rev up your wedding-day look. Our nail technician will apply a
topcoat to keep the paint from chipping, but it's not a bad idea to buy the
bottle of nail polish to have with you, just in case.
As always, our skilled nail staff are full of ideas. Be
sure to chat with them if you're looking for a little inspiration.

If
you're planning a post-wedding getaway with your new spouse, a pedicure should
be on your to-do list. There's something about candy-colored toes that screams
fun in the sun. Here are a few fun and funky nail designs you should consider
before jet setting to a tropical paradise.
Go tropical
If you're headed to the land of palm trees and fruity drinks, why
not embrace the theme and go with tropical nails? You can get a French manicure
with palm tress airbrushed on your big toe. Another option - pink nails with
white flowers.
Embrace your inner animal
Nothing says fun like animal prints. Have our
manicurist create a cheetah or zebra print on your nails. It might sound like a
difficult pattern to create, but artistic ability and technology goes a long
way. Our manicurist can do all kinds of crazy designs; so don't be afraid to
ask for something out of the ordinary.
Be bold
Don't be afraid to pick a bold color. Rock scarlet red or viper
yellow. Colorful toes will add a dash of color to your look. Plus, they
compliment just about any kind of sundress and they draw attention to your
sun-kissed complexion.
Of course, to show off your fancy pedicure, you'll want to pack several pairs
of sandals. Keep a comfortable pair around for the beach, but be sure to break
out your strappy sandals for dinner. Nothing showcases a pedicure like sexy
sandals.

Her hands have given so much love
over the years. She placed a cool cloth on your forehead when you were ill,
cooked your favorite meal when you were hungry or needed cheering and patted
you on the back when you were discouraged. A mother's hands are precious to her
child and should be treasured. That's why focusing on her hands can lead you to
a gift she'll love for Mother's Day.
A manicure is the perfect gift for busy moms everywhere, because it will give
her a chance to be pampered and she'll enjoy the chance to show off her pretty
hands.
Is your mom one of those ladies who has everything? A manicure gives her a
chance to spend a little time on herself. While she might not purchase a
manicure for herself on a regular day, she is certain to use your gift of a
manicure and will feel special and indulged while doing so.
Even if her life is hectic, a manicure will fit into her schedule because she
can take advantage of it during a time that is most convenient for her. A
manicure is also a good gift if you are on a budget, because purchasing a
manicure for your mom doesn't cost a lot of money but shows that you were
thinking of her and her need to relax and be cared for. It can be personalized
with her favorite color nail polish or her favorite design, such as flowers.
Unlike real flowers, painted flowers won't wilt away into obscurity in a few
short days but will last for weeks.
If you want to present the gift in a fun way, purchase a small bottle of hand
lotion in her favorite scent. Attach the gift of the manicure to the lotion
bottle with a pretty ribbon and wrap it all up for a gift that she will
appreciate for a long time to come. Every time she uses the lotion, she'll
remember her manicure and feel loved and valued all over again.
For an added lasting memory, purchase a manicure for yourself and spend the day
with your mom so both of you can be spoiled just a little bit and treated to
the gift of beautiful hands.

Your
mother's hands. They bathed you in a sink when you were pink and new and
scary-small. Cleaned up countless numbers of your messes. Guided you across
busy streets, spent tireless hours correcting your homework, packed you healthy
lunches. Reached out to you in times of trouble and times of joy.
What better way to show your appreciation than with the gift of a Mother's Day
manicure? The very name comes from the Latin words for "care" and "hands."
Let Mom sit back in the chair and have us take care of her hands for a
change. File and shape them to perfection. Cut back those cuticles she never
has time to deal with. Soothe her tired hands with lotion and massage.
Then let her choose a style she has pretended not to care about all these years
because she was too busy caring for you. Perhaps a classy French manicure, with clear or blush polish and white along
the nailtips would do. Or maybe a reverse French, with the upper "moons"
painted white and the rest the color of her choice.
Maybe Mom would like some long-lasting acrylic nails to accommodate her busy
lifestyle. We also can offer a relaxing paraffin manicure for her, where heated wax
moisturizes and softens-the perfect treatment for dry, overworked hands.
Perhaps Mom will want to go jazzy, with a flowery or abstract design painted on
her nails. It's her day. It's her choice.
Now, look down at your own nails. Hmmm... maybe they could use a
little loving care too. If so, a mother-daughter trip will be the
perfect excursion this Mother's Day.
